TO THE HISTORY & NATURE OF OMAN- NAKHL, RUSTAQ (8 HOURS-CAR)

Morning we will drive to Nakhl, enroute visit Seeb fish market and reach Nakhal which has a 350 years old magnificent fort and is dramatically located at the top of rock mountain cliff. The area is surrounded with dates plantations. The narrow road through the town winds up to the Hot Springs, which is a popular picnic, spot. After spending some time at Nakhl we will continue for Rustaq (about 55 kms Southwest of Nakhl), once the capital of this area and always a major trading center of Oman, Later we will drive back to Muscat via Al Hazam (Only Photo stop, Closed for renovations).

Note: Nakal & Rustaq forts are open Saturday–Thursday: 09 AM – 04 PM & Friday: 08 AM–11AM.
